About Hannah Shoshana Holistic Psychotherapy

I believe with a passion that mental and physical wellness are inseperably intertwined & therefore must be addressed together as one. As a social worker, I have been trained to view every person within the context of their environment, this methodology is taught in terms of systems; family, school, culture, government, etc. While I recognize these systems certainly play a role in shaping who we are, I tend to hold this macro view along with a more microscopic focus. I see humans as beautiful science experiments driven by the many reactions that happen within and outside of our bodies.

From where I stand, I see that everything we consume, whether it be food, social media, music, books, etc. has an impact on our inner and outter worldview. The things we eat produce a reaction which manifests in our lives as a change in thought patterns, moods, and the potential to elicit behvaiors. When we begin to see our nature in this light, we tap in to a new kind of self awareness - one that holds only ourselves responsible for how we interpret and respond to our world. By tapping into the source of these reactions, be it with diet or work in the subconcious mind, we are able to unravel the web of forces we have presumed to be out of our control until this point. It is with this newfound self awareness that we are able to break free of the patterns that hold us back; gifting you the ability to free your mind.
